The HC-02 Bluetooth serial port module is based on version 2.0 development, high stability, ultra low power consumption, industrial grade Bluetooth digital transmission module. Users do not need to care about complex wireless communication configurations and transmission algorithms, just connect the device through a TTL serial port.
The HC-02 slave module is powered up and can be connected to the phone for data transfer. In addition, it can be connected to HC-05 or HC-06 host (match code, default is 1234), can replace the traditional serial cable, no wiring work, very flexible.

Brief introduction to the working principle of the module
As shown in the figure above, the HC-02 module is used together with the HC-06 host to replace the physical connection during full-duplex communication. The device on the left sends the serial port data to the module. After receiving the serial port data, the RXD port of the module automatically sends the data to the air in the form of radio waves. The module on the right can be automatically received and the serial port data sent by the original left device is restored from TXD. The same is true from right to left.
Connection between module and MCU and other devices
As shown in the figure above,When the module is connected to the power supply system for the 3.3V MCU, the serial port can be cross-connected. (RX of the module is connected to the TX of the MCU, and the TX of the module is connected to the RX of the MCU)
When the module is connected to the 5V MCU of the power supply system, a 220 Ohm-1K Ohm resistor can be connected in series with the RX end of the module, and then the TX of the MCU is connected. The TX of the module is directly connected to the RX of the MCU, and no series resistor is needed. (Note: Please confirm that the MCU used determines the voltage of 3V as high level, otherwise it needs to add 3.3V/5V level conversion circuit)
Note: The power supply of the module is 3.3V (3~3.6V), it can't be connected to 5V, and directly connected to 5V will burn out the module! The 5V power supply must be stepped down by the LDO to 3.3V before powering the module.
Link between modules
HC-06 is the master, HC-02 is the slave, the pairing code is the same (the default is 1234), the baud rate is the same, and it can be automatically linked when the power is turned on. After the first connection, the HC-06 host will automatically remember the pairing object. If you need to connect other modules, you must first clear the pairing memory of the HC-06 host. There is no pairing memory in the slave.

Module connection to PC
The HC-02 connected to the computer needs to be connected to the computer via the HC-06-USB Bluetooth virtual serial port.
The HC-02 can be connected to the computer's own Bluetooth device for communication.
